Off to a great start!

We’re only one week into our school year and we’ve jumped right in with art projects, math games, new friendships, gym time and more. Each teacher has expressed gratitude for the privilege of working with these fantastic students. Thank you, families, for sharing your precious kids with us.

Student Pick-up Changes

Along with a new building comes new procedures and discovering needs. We’ll continue to fine-tune how we allow entrance to the building and how to integrate gym time with lunch. For student safety, staff will be outside for after-school pick-up. Thank you for your patience as we seek solutions to any wrinkles in using this new space.

We need more volunteers

Each teacher is committed to giving your children the best education possible, but we can’t do it all. Since all staff are in their classrooms each period, we need other adults in the building to cover what staff cannot. We seek parent volunteers to be in the building for portions of the day. This can be study hall monitors (we need a few more), gym monitors (can you volunteer for a couple days a month?) and rovers (someone to watch the exterior door and generally be available for anything that pops up). If you’d rather be our pizza hero, we need moms with Costco cards to pick up pizza and deliver it to school once a month. By offering a few hours of your week or month, we can continue to create a cohesive learning environment in and outside the classroom.
